Martine Johanna’s “Dancer” at Spoke Art SF.
Opening on October 8th, 2016 at Spoke Art Gallery’s San Francisco, California location is the sensational looking solo exhibition of Amsterdam-based artist Martine Johanna entitled “Dancer.”
For “Dancer,” Martine has created a truly phenomenal body of work that dives into the psychology of physical gesture, exploring momentum and dance through the use of colors and ideas related to internal thought processing. For Johanna, dancing and painting are one in the same. The brush strokes on the wooden panels are like steps in a waltz. Each movement is a color coming together to form emotional powerhouses of communication.
“Dancer” will be on display until October 29th, 2016.
